Mat Sci for Art

Advanced studio focused on geologic and chemical earth science as it pertains to art. Safe and efficient testing habits will explore applications such as clay and glaze formulation. Parallels will be drawn in metals, glass, paper, and paint. Prereq: 2502 (340), 2602 (342), and 3502 and 3602, or 440 and 442; or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 640 and 644.
