Understanding Television

Understanding and critical written analysis and discussion of television, through viewing, discussing, reading, and writing. Students will focus on the ways in which racial, ethnic, and gender diversity issues are represented on television and media. Prereq: TLIELP 1902; or 1902.04; or IELP WRITE score of 80; or English Placement Level 4; or EPLR Student Group; or English 1110.xx or equivalent. Not open to students with credit for 2367.03, Theatre 2367.03, or 2700. Cross-listed in Theatre.
