Approaches tea from multiple perspectives, including, but not limited to, history, geography, agriculture, commerce, health, nutrition, arts and crafts, folklore, and transmission of everyday cultural practices. Classes include lectures, discussion, and a laboratory of preparation and tasting of a variety of tea.
