The diagnosis of mental health disorders is fundamental to clinical treatment in professional counseling while the ability to critically conceptualize psychopathology, or the study of mental health disorders, is paramount. This course will provide students an opportunity to expand upon psychiatric diagnoses through the integration of theoretical, critical, and other socio-cultural perspectives. Prereq: 6731 and 6931, and admission to Counselor Education program.
