Central American Migrants in the United States

Survey of the history and culture of Central Americans in the United States. Through an interdisciplinary approach spanning the humanities and social sciences, students will analyze the history of mass exodus and migration from Central America, settlement and formation of diaspora communities in major urban areas, and community work and organizing of Central Americans in key cities across the U.S.
