An advanced overview of causes and consequences of Earth's changing climate, evaluating natural from human influenced forcings and the fundamentals of climate dynamics and energy within broader dimensions of sustainability. Student research investigates the nature and extent of a particular climate change consequence for society and critically evaluates strategies for mitigation and adaptation. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for 3900, 3900.01, 3901H.
