The Nationalism of Literature

How does literature contribute to the formation of national identity? What insights can we gain about a nation by reading poems, novels, and short stories? We will consider these questions by looking at modern Greek literature. Our overall objective will be to examine what literary works say about the nation, identity, and political struggle.
