PubHlth/Opera

In this course, we will explore six public health themes that are dramatized in opera as a popular artistic medium. Students will be introduced to the public health aspects of the issue and then presented with information about how the issue has been represented in multiple operas, ranging from the 1700's to current day. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for PubHlth 3010. Cross-listed in PubHlth.
