This course reviews prominent qualitative methodologies used in public affairs research with an emphasis on the interpretive tradition. Students will learn how to design and conduct rigorous and ethical qualitative research for the purpose of theory- and knowledge-building. The course is intended for doctoral students and research-oriented masters students. Repeatable to a maximum of 6 cr hrs.
