Social Foundations of Race, Ethnicity, Gender, and Social Class

In this course students explore how people's lives are shaped by their race, gender, ethnicity, and social class. The course emphasizes the ways in which these identities and social positions are constructed, along with their consequences. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for 1101, 1101H, 1101E, RurlSoc 1500 or equiv.
