Gen Pract Families

This course addresses professional values, knowledge, and skills essential for effective generalist social work practice with families. Emphasis is placed on family theory, models, and strategies for intervention, practice skills, and ethics necessary for beginning practice in social service agencies. The development of culturally competent practice is an integral part of this course. Prereq: 3501 and 3502.
