Ongoing development of listening, reading, speaking, writing skills and knowledge of Hispanic & Latinx cultures. Taught in Spanish. Students who have attained the Ohio Seal of Biliteracy (SoBL) receive EM credit for this course level. A grade of C- or above is required to move on to Spanish 3000-level major or minor courses. Not open to native speakers of this language. Prereq: 1103, or 1113, or equiv.; or Spanish MultiCAT or Spanish Heritage Learner (SHL) Placement Level 6. Not open to students with credit for 2213, or 3000+ level courses in the Spanish major or minor program.
