Introduction to Children's Literature

This is a survey course in which students study the historical and contemporary elements of literature intended for children, including picturebooks; traditional tales; novels of realism, and fantasy; nonfiction; poetry; and multicultural books. Prereq: English 1110, or equiv. Not open to students with credit for EduTL 2368.
