Border Citizens: Latinx Gender Studies

Often deemed outsiders and foreigners in US soil, Latinxs thinkers have complicated and diversified our definitions of citizenship. The class will not only address the struggles over citizenship rights endured by this community, it will also expose students to Latinx theories and visions of national belonging across various borders and binaries.
