Kiyosue-sensei is an amazing professor that makes level 3 Japanese more about learning the language than completing assignments or studying for exams. The class is much more chill than level 1. His classes are very informative, and give a good contrast in perspective compared to the other Japanese faculty.

Kiyosue-sensei is a great teacher who makes class fun. His only issues is that he doesn't really teach sometimes and just like talks a lot but still a great guy who I enjoyed learning from.

Excellent professor that is more than willing to help students when needed! You get the grade you put into this class, but the teacher is understanding that at the 4101 level, you are there for your own language abilities and not for a grade! Grading criteria is same as levels below it and there are a few opportunities for EC! Highly recommend!

Kiyosue-sensei is an incredible teacher. Once you get to a classroom environment with him, he's very personable and kindhearted. He works hard to get to know his students and is more than willing to help you as a student if you're in need. Definitely a privilege to have him as an instructor.

Really appreciate Kiyosue. He is Hilarious and kind in class. He understands students and gives students really excellent class. He will also show Japanese culture in class, not just repeat script. Really recommend.
