  He is a really nice man, but I would highly recommend not missing many lectures. His lectures were only loosely based off of his slides, so it was sort of hard to follow. He only curved one of our exams so the class averages were pretty low. Overall, he is funny and caring, but the way he teaches is confusing if you aren't locked in.

  Pretty decent guy, all things considered. Seemed like he cared about teaching and his students. Gave lectures at a pace that I could follow and would stay after class to answer questions (even ~20 min after lecture ended), although obviously this may have been unique to our Math 1148 class specifically. Cracked a funny joke every now and then, too!

  I hated this class. I gave up on the lectures as it was so hard to follow him. I really do not recommend this course. The class is midterm and final heavy and It makes it hard to learn with how the teaching is set up. It was hard to see anything or hear him in the lectures and he believes you need to teach yourself math and that he can't do it.

  I gave up on attending this lecture. He seems like a nice guy, but I could not follow anything he taught. I did better just attending recitations and learning through the homework. If you can not learn things without a teacher- choose another professor. Attendance is not mandatory. There is a quiz every single week. Exams are weighted heavily.

  He has no sense of direciton in his lectures.He writes random things on the chalk baord with no lesson plans. I tried my very best to pay attention but genuiley couldn't follow along. After the first midterm,I started going to another lectuere,Tony Nance. I wouldnt have passed without him. If you get this lectuer switch out or just go to another.
