  Mitchell has a lot of respect for his students and is genuinely keen on making the subject matter as relatable as possible. The classroom was a safe place for us to discuss opinions. Mitchell was very well organized; his instructions for our assignments were always clear and to the point. Glad I signed up for his class

  I would take another class from him. I loved the way the classroom was like a democracy, we learned and participated the way the students wanted to. I really appreciated the set up of the class and how he really related to the students. The twitter campaign was a great way to allow us the opportunity for our learning to be used for the real world.

  Mitchell is probably my favorite professor I have had at osu. He is a great guy, I actually picked up an HDFS minor and took two of his classes because of how much I enjoyed his first class. Good teacher and motivated to engage discussions, which I enjoyed a lot. He also looks like Noah from the notebook which made paying attention a lot easier.

  Great professor! Options for which class project you want to do, opportunities to gain back points lost. Optional textbook, and had a survey before class started to find out what topics everyone wanted to learn about and how they prefer class to be structured. Really awesome professor!
