  I got a poor grade in the course because I am not good at chemistry. Dr. Nardo is incredibly fun, engaging, a wonderful communicator, and exceedingly patient. Even for someone not the best at chemistry, her lectures were easy to understand and well-paced. She does her best to make class fun, and I'd gladly have her as my professor for every class.

  I took AP Chemistry before coming into this class, but I still managed to learn new things. This is Dr. Nardo's second year of teaching this class, but I think she did a great job. She clearly cares about her students and their performances, and is very open to feedback from her students. She also does her best to make the class fun.

  I absolutely recommend Dr.Nardo to anyone. Super helpful and always wanting to help you succeed as much as possible. She understands Chem is a hard class and makes the material as learnable as possible. If you want to succeed then go to classes, do practice, go to office hours for sure. I've never taken Chem in high school at all and still got a A-

  Very kind professor, but did not teach the content in a way that students could understand clearly. The class was a combined recitation and lecture, but did not go over the math concepts/practice problems. Overall, would not recommend this professor if you haven't taken AP Chem or if the last time you took chem was in 10th grade.

  She is really nice and obviously cares about her students. The thing that made me upset was that she was not good at communicating the content. If I did not take AP Chem previously I would have struggled. I honestly didn't even bother paying attention in class because I knew that I would not get anything out of it.
